The Department of English has always shown diligence in organising new arenas, ventures and competitions to develop the English language skills of the students - listening, speaking, reading and writing. Moreover, the advanced learners are given immense opportunities to enhance their academic excellence and also to extend help to the slow learners in improving their academic performance. In addition to it, the initiatives of the Department contribute to give different forms of experiential learning to all students. Throughout the years, the department organizes fests,  interdepartmental competitions,  exhibitions and much more to bring in energy and vibrance to the monotonous schedules of academic life. The successful initiatives of the Department include 'Peer Teaching', 'Connecting to Community', 'SES CHRONICLE', AUDEXTIA, SESENGLIF, etc.
